International activity is one of the directions in which the Institute for Strategy of Education Development of the Russian Academy of Education works and develops. The implementation of international activities meets the priority objectives of the Russian Federation's national policy in the field of education and science.
The main fields of the Institute's international activities are: • organization of international conferences and roundtables devoted to the key problems of world education; • conducting seminars and webinars within the framework of cooperation agreements with foreign scientific and educational organizations aimed at the academic exchange, joint training of scientific personnel, and the implementation of scientific publications; • providing employees with information about international conferences and other scientific events.
At the present day, the Institute for Strategy of Education Development cooperates on the basis of long-term agreements with higher educational institutions and other scientific institutions from 9 countries: Armenia, Belarus, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Greece, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
Academic Council of the Institute also constantly maintains scientific ties with foreign higher educational institutions: State University of Minnesota (Mankato, USA), Austrian Academy of Sciences (Vienna, Austria), University of Sorbonne (Paris, France), South-West University “Neofit Rilski” (Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria), Hebei University (Shijiazhuang City, China), Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno (Grodno, Belarus), Belarusian State University (Minsk, Belarus).
The annual significant increase in the number of publications of the Institute's researchers in Russian and foreign journals, indexed in the scientific database of Scopus and the Web of Science, shows the growth of the international prestige of the Institute.
An effective infrastructure for the implementation of international cooperation makes it possible to integrate the Institute successfully into the global educational space. The international research activities of the Institute's researchers contribute to the development of world education.
